Here is a view of the top front of the
engine. It clearly shows the oil filler cap, the flywheel cover, the
oil pressure sending unit with an oil direct read “steam” gauge installed
by the PO. Also visible is the thermostat housing.

The fuel/water separator and fuel filter
system installed during winter haul out 2001. I typically change the
filter element once a season unless I suspect that there is water or contaminants
in the fuel, in which case I’ll change until clean.

Mounted on the bulkhead behind the 18-gallon fuel tank is the raw water inlet
Jabsco filter. The fuel tank is beneath the starboard aft quarter bunk.
